Belinda joined the New South Wales Police Force in 1992 and spent the next 17 years as a police officer where she performed duties in General Duties, Child Protection, plain clothes Special Operations, Domestic Violence and completed her career as The Brief Handling Manager. Part of Belinda's responsibilities as the Domestic Violence Officer and Brief Handling Manager was to train all levels of police in investigation, brief preparation and interview techniques. Belinda was utilized by surrounding Local Area Commands to train their staff after the success of the training programs she developed and implemented.
Belinda was also a Field Teaching Officer and trained Probationary Constables in all aspects of policing. Belinda also attended the NSW Police Academy where she would assess student police officers for their suitability to graduate as Probationary Constables of Police.
Belinda has wide-ranging knowledge in operational self-defense where she continues to develop people's confidence and professional presence. Belinda was also involved in the research, design, development, delivery and evaluation of numerous vocational and professional development training programs in the Child Protection and Domestic Violence fields. Belinda's strengths come from her ability to engage and communicate at all levels in both the private and public sectors.
Belinda now brings her extensive knowledge and experience to our RTO which further strengths and broadens our facilitator network.
